A standard large map published by Rand McNally, but from an interesting period for the heart of the Middle East. Still under Ottoman power, this map shows most of present day southern Israel as a territory labelled as "Jerusalem". About fifteen miles north of the city of Jerusalem begins the territory of "Beirut", while the mountain regions and part of the coast are here noted as "Lebanon". An inset shows "Modern Jerusalem and Environs".
Condition is very good with printed color. Image size is 19.5 x 12.75 (inches).
