(Arizona) Parts of Central and Western Arizona, Sheet No. 75

 Lt. Wheeler’s plan was to map the entire west section by section. This was only partly completed but the maps that were done are usually the most detailed maps then available. This one covers a region centered on Prescott Arizona. It is drawn at 8 miles to an inch and goes from Wickenburg on the south to just past Humphrey’s peak on the north. It is best in it’s depiction of trails and terrain but towns, settlements, trails and explorer routes are also included. Seven strata of geology are color coded.
