A nice Japanese published wall map for the world that centers nicely on the Japan and its expanding world view. Issued as a reference and educational tool, it cost 6 yen at the time and was printed by the Kobayashi Company, and while it is a solid world map at top, it also includes some thematic maps below. At bottom center is an elliptical world view that shows average temperatures, while hemispheres flanking on both sides look at the planet divided by region river basins. While at the very bottom is a elevation chart that looks at profile of South America.
Condition is good to this cloth backed folding wall map which has some minimal separation on the centerfold, and some light worming on a fold, but is still solid and stable. Image size is approximately 8.25 x 10.25 (inches)
